    [b]Position Summary[/b]

    A Postdoctoral Researcher is sought to work on an NSF-sponsored project dealing with the impacts of global change on coastal mangrove and marsh ecosystems. The successful candidate will help to organize, deploy and sample from field-based global change experiments, will carry out laboratory and analytical portions of biogeochemical studies focused on mangrove and marsh ecophysiology, and will help supervise undergraduate and Masters students working on the project. The position is 100% research time, 12-month appointment to start on or shortly after January 16, 2018.

    [b]Duties and Responsibilities[/b]

    Organize, deploy and sample from field-based global change experiments. Carry out laboratory and analytical portions of biogeochemical studies focused on mangrove and marsh ecophysiology. Help to supervise undergraduate and Masters students working on the project.

    [b]Minimum Qualifications[/b]

    Ph.D. completed or to be completed before position starts.
    Ecosystem ecology laboratory and analytical skills.
    Biostatistics proficiency.
    Good publication record in ecology.
    English fluency.

    [b]Preferred Qualifications[/b]

    SET deployment.
    Sophisticated statistical analytical capabilities.
    Mentoring experience.

    [b]Physical Requirements and/or Unusual Work Hours[/b]

    Must be able to participate in field work under strenuous and primitive conditions.
