Hi,
I am a postdoctoral researcher at wayne state university chemistry department. I am thinking start to look for a faculty position in community college. My concern is I am a foreigner, currently H-1B visa folder. Do community colleges hire international applicant? I also would appreciate general advise for faculty position application. Thanks for advance.

Yes we encourage foreign volunteers in our university. A few Candians and British researchers are working at present in IUBAT -International University of Business, Agriculture and Technology ,Uttara, Dhaka-1230, Bangladesh. Website:

It is a hell of a lot easier for you, as a foreigner to land a faculty job in Chemistry at a US university than it is for an American to get a Chemistry faculty job at X-country abroad. I know, I was there.

I received my PhD in Computer Science from Texas A&M University in January 2008. I worked under the supervision of Dr. Andreas Klappenecker in the School of Engineering. Currently I am seeking a research and academic position. Also, I would like to obtain a post-doctoral or visiting research position
