The Agronomy Department at Kansas State University is looking for a Research Assistant to work on growth chambers, greenhouse and field based research activities related to different crops aimed towards developing and validating phenotyping protocols that would allow temporal assessment of crops exposed to stress and their ability to quantify different degree of resilience to help improve KSU crop breeding programs. The successful candidate will work on developing chlorophyll fluorescence based techniques and work closely with the aerial phenotyping team to help integrate ground and aerial based phenotyping approaches.

Required Minimum Qualifications:
BS in a field that deals with sensor based technology. Experienced with using equipments such as spectroradiometers, light adapted chlorophyll fluorescence detection, chlorophyll fluorescence imaging and has the experience to validate the findings from field conditions using wet lab based chemical assays.
