We seek postdoctoral level applicants to work with monitoring, developing, and optimizing monitoring programs for endangered Pallid Sturgeon in the Missouri River. The ideal candidate will have an interest in numerical approaches, species conservation, and monitoring. The postdoctoral associate will work with to the Missouri River Effect Analysis Team and contribute to ongoing Missouri River Adaptive Management efforts. Minimum Qualifications: Ph.D. in fisheries biology, fisheries ecology, conservation biology, wildlife ecology, natural resource/wildlife management, or related field. Candidate should be motivated with the ability to work independently. The ideal candidate will have an operational knowledge of monitoring programs, estimating animal abundance, estimating demographic rates, capture-recapture analyses, and population dynamics. Ability to program in R, JAGS, and WinBUGS are preferred.

Salary: 47,500 per year plus benefits
