The Center for Carbon Studies in Tropical Agriculture (CCARBON) is offering a post-doctorate fellowship to develop the project “Changes in soil biota and plant microbiome under chemical-based and integrated-based pest management strategies in soybean-maize rotation in a non-tillage system yield the same carbon pools below and aboveground?”.
The selected candidate will be hired for a 36-months fellowship as a post-doc researcher. It is desirable that the candidate is self-motivated, proactive, independent, with a degree in the field of Entomology, with expertise in studying the interactions among organisms and in the use of molecular and bioinformatic tools for the study of the diversity of communities and its effects on the soil biota – plant – insect pest interactions.
The position is open to Brazilians and foreigners. The selected candidate will receive Post-Doctoral Fellowship in the amount of BRL 12,000.00 monthly (approximately USD 2,000) plus Technical Reserve. The Technical Reserve is equivalent to 10% of the annual value of the scholarship and should be used for expenses directly related to research activities.
