    The Department of Soil and Crop Sciences at Colorado State University invites applications for a tenure-track faculty position in plant breeding and genetics. We seek dynamic and motivated scientists who have expertise in plant germplasm evaluation, enhancement, and utilization. Candidates are sought with demonstrated capacity to integrate next-generation technologies and large datasets with classical field- and laboratory-based plant improvement approaches in their research program. Commitment to teaching excellence and stakeholder engagement is an important part of this position. Min. reqs: PhD in a related field by application date; exp. in plant germplasm enhancement or genetic resource evaluation; exp. with genomic technologies relevant to crop breeding and genetics; effective communication skills; and a strong record of scholarly achievement.
