Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities
Assist the project director in maintaining compliance with National Organic Program requirements.
Collate information for reports and other deliverables
Assist the Project Director in the development/revision of project plans
Demonstrate proficiency in computer skills, including Microsoft Office products such as Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams, etc.
Demonstrate proficiency with web-conferencing software (Zoom, WebEx, and Teams, etc.)
Coordinate and assist in the recruitment of participants for the project.
Manage the administrative needs of the experiential/service-learning activities
Coordinate the implementation of project workshops and seminars
Participate in project evaluation activities
Provide administrative support to the project team
Perform other relevant activities or duties as directed by the supervisor.
Qualifications
Education/Experience: A bachelor’s degree with a minimum of two (2) or more years of experience
Experience in working with adult populations, or willing to work with adult populations
Must be willing to collaborate with small farmers and with community-based organizations
Excellent interpersonal skills
Excellent written and oral communication skills
Must be courteous and provide excellent customer service
Must be a team player
Knowledge and skills to effectively interact with people from different cultural backgrounds, including those associated with race, ethnicity, national origin, religion, socioeconomic status, age, gender, disability, sexual orientation, and other aspects of human diversity
Qualifications (Preferred)
Education/Experience: A master’s degree
Salary
Commensurate with education, training, and experience

This position does require weekend and after work hours during peak season(s)
This position does require travel to trainings, workshops, and conferences
This position is funded through grant funding
This position end date is September 30, 2023, unless funding is renewed
