Extension responsibilities include creating Extension publications and programs that involve commodity groups and other stakeholders producing barley in Idaho. The candidate will work with UI faculty members, extension educators, as well as industry and commodity groups to provide integrated Extension publications, including state and regional bulletins that address barley production and nutrient management issues. Technology transfer via programming, such as workshops, field days, and grower/industry conferences, is an expectation.
