(This is a grant funded non-tenure track position. Continuation of employment will be dependent on funding availability, job performance, and continued need for the appointment.)
WORK LOCATION: Rice Research Station, LSU AgCenter, Crowley, La.
POSITION DESCRIPTION: Responsibility of working under the direction of a project leader doing research on rice disease control. The duties will include field research, as well as some laboratory and greenhouse work. The position will involve data collection, record keeping, and the use of materials and research equipment. The position will also include responsibility for supervision of certain personnel and cooperation with other projects.
QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS: A bachelor’s degree in plant sciences, agronomy, plant disease management, plant pest management, or related discipline from an accredited college or university. Other degrees may be accepted with experience or education related to job duties. Computer skills required.
