In line with USP's inclusion and belonging policy, Esalq considers it essential to promote intersectional actions that promote equity, diversity and inclusion among faculty, students and staff, encompassing teaching, research, innovation and university extension activities, as well as management activities. This strategy involves mapping and recognizing the current situation of minority groups at the School and also training the community on these topics, but also through affirmative actions aimed at correcting inequalities and promoting equal opportunities, and through initiatives that consider mental health aspects.

Achieving this objective requires:

Identifying minority groups at Esalq and training the community to promote inclusion.

Reducing gender disparity among faculty, staff and students, especially in management positions.

Promoting access and retention of minority groups in postgraduate courses, in accordance with USP guidelines.

Expand and strengthen reception mechanisms for undergraduate and graduate students, also including actions for staff and teachers.
