The Department of Arid land Agriculture seeks to fill a position at the level of Associate Professor with primary research and secondary teaching responsibilities in the area of Aquaponics (Aquaculture and Hydroponics).
RESPONSIBILITIES The successful candidate must develop a competitive and internationally visible research program in Aquaculture and Hydroponics. The individual will manage, expand and advance aquaponic systems in the college and apply cutting edge developments for establishing a state-of-the-art facility for research, education and training. Capability to develop model systems for industry and small- scale farmers is desirable. Experience in technology transfer and extension activities will be an added advantage. The candidate will develop and teach graduate and undergraduate courses, mentor M.S. and Ph.D. students, and maintain high level of research productivity.
