The Department of Agricultural Economic & Agricultural Business at NMSU is searching for a Professor/Department Head. This is a 12 month tenured position. Ph.D. (awarded by hire date) in Agricultural Economics or Agricultural Business or a related field is required. Must be tenured or be tenurable at the rank of professor. The Department Head is responsible for collaboratively formulating and implementing with the faculty a vision for the department as well as all dimensions of administration.
Responsibilities include fiscal and personnel management, developing and maintaining departmental facilities, faculty and program evaluations, administering departmental programs, and fundraising and outreach. Successful candidate may teach one or more undergraduate or graduate courses each academic semester.
