The Department of Animal & Range Sciences at New Mexico State University is seeking to fill an Assistant/Associate Professor of Animal Science. This is a 12-month, tenure track research faculty position that supports research at the Clayton Livestock Research Center, located in Clayton, New Mexico.
This position requires a Ph.D. (in hand by hire date) in Animal Science or closely related field emphasis in beef cattle health, stress physiology immunology, or nutrition/production. Research responsibility will focus on beef cattle production and health. Complimentary areas of interest may include feedlot nutrition, nutritional physiology and relationships between nutrition, animal health/immunology and growth physiology. Housing is available at the research center. Travel is involved.
