The School of Fisheries, Aquaculture and Aquatic Sciences at Auburn University is seeking candidates for a Postdoctoral Fellow to work both independently and collaboratively with members of a research team to develop research projects that conduct the remediation of per- and polyfluoroalkyl substances (PFAS) from water. The individual selected for this position will be expected to help mentor graduates and undergraduates, design and implement lab experiments for PFAS sorption and degradation, conduct analyses of the results, publish manuscripts in scientific journals, present research findings at professional meetings, and prepare proposals for additional extramural funding of the research program. This is a benefit eligible, non-tenure track position. The appointment is for an initial period of one year with a possibility of continuance up to a maximum of four years depending on performance and funding and funding availability.
