Dairy Science Animal Science Agricultural - General
The Washington State University (WSU) Department of Animal Sciences seeks to fill a tenure-track, permanent, full-time, 9-month position. The position is available on August 16, 2019. The position will contribute to a dynamic team supporting a growing undergraduate program.
The individual hired in this position will be responsible for teaching undergraduates and graduate courses (60%) and maintaining a high quality research program (40%). The primary teaching responsibility is within the undergraduate program with an emphasis in nutrition (Feeds & Feeding), as well as dairy production and management. Research is to be focused on critical issues in dairy nutrition in areas including nutrigenomics, nutrition and immune function, gastrointestinal microbial metabolism, or applied dairy nutritional management.
