The Department of Animal and Avian Sciences at the University of Maryland, College Park seeks to hire a Lecturer (non-tenure track) for a full-time faculty, teaching position, with a 9-month academic appointment, starting in February 2023. The Teaching responsibilities of this position are instruction of six courses per year, including ANSC101 Principles of Animal Science and five other additional courses based on departmental need. Minimum qualifications: A doctorate in veterinary medicine (DVM) or a Ph.D. in Animal Science or a related discipline and experience working with livestock.
Preferred Qualifications: Prior teaching experience is desired.
