Job Description Summary
The Forest Products Development Center in the College of Forestry, Wildlife and Environment (CFWE) at Auburn University is seeking a qualified individual for a one-year postdoctoral fellowship. This is a limited-term, non-tenure track position with anticipated funding for up to two years. Continued employment is contingent on availability of funding and satisfactory performance. The individual in this position will be working on utilizing soy flour in wood adhesives and wood composites.
Minimum Qualifications
Candidates must possess a Ph.D. in wood composites or wood adhesives at time of employment with 2 years’ experience post PhD degree. The individual should have skills in wood composite manufacture, wood adhesives, wood composite testing of mechanical and physical properties. The successful candidate must meet eligibility requirements for work in the United States at the time the appointment is scheduled to begin and continue working legally for the term of employment.
Desired Qualifications
Experience using CO2 to dry woody biomass.
