The position requires obtaining extramural funding in support of research and publishing in peer-reviewed journals.

Teaching:  Teach undergraduate and graduate courses in soil physics, environmental impact modeling, hydropedology, and other related courses as needed.

Qualification Requirements: PhD in soil physics or closely related discipline with a strong background in mathematics and modeling (including numerical methods and coding) are required.  Experience with field and laboratory methods (standard and new or promising), and a commitment to effective teaching is expected.   Knowledge and interest in pedology is highly desirable. Must be able to work closely with others and have excellent verbal and written communication skills.
