We are accepting applications for a full-time, non-tenure track position as Visiting Assistant Professor of Agriculture Science in the Department of Agricultural Sciences. The anticipated start date for this position is January 7, 2019.
Responsibilities: Teach a course load of 12 hours per semester in undergraduate agriculture courses which may include: animal science, anatomy and physiology of livestock, precision agriculture, food safety and first year seminar.
Qualifications: An earned Doctorate in agriculture. ABDs with imminent completion may be considered. Must have a sincere interest in undergraduate students and be able to work productively with the members of the faculty and the laboratory farm staff.
Desired Qualifications: A farm background with experience in some facet of the agriculture industry and teaching experience are preferred.
