The University of Kentucky College of Agriculture, Food and Environment (CAFE) is seeking a qualified candidate to fill a full-time Lecturer position. This will be a twelve-month appointment. Lecturers at the University of Kentucky have faculty status but are not eligible for tenure.
The Lecturer will be based in the Department of Entomology (ENT) and will teach undergraduate courses both in the Entomology and the Agricultural and Medical Biotechnology programs. Teaching responsibilities include courses such as Introductory Genetics (ABT 360), Experimental Methods in Biotechnology (ABT 495), Writing and Presentations in Biotechnology (ABT 301). The development of Entomology courses for on-line instruction will also be expected. The initial appointment is for one year, with potential reappointment depending on satisfactory performance reviews and availability of funds.
