The Agricultural and Extension Education department at New Mexico State University is seeking to fill the Department Head position. This is a full time, 12 month, tenured position at the rank of Professor with an administrative appointment. The Department Head coordinates and evaluates activities related to undergraduate and graduate instruction, research, and outreach.  The department head will teach at least one upper division or graduate course annually. Candidates must have an earned Ph.D. in Agricultural Education or Agricultural Extension or Agricultural Communications or closely related field, and have compiled a demonstrable record of academic achievement and professional experience consistent with the university rank of Full Professor or Associate Professor eligible for promotion to Professor within the department.
