A vacancy for a postdoctoral research associate is available at the University of Georgia (UGA) Warnell School of Forestry and Natural Resources. The incoming associate will pursue research to characterize women forest landowners in three southeastern states of Georgia, Alabama, and South Carolina, reflecting upon their socio-economic status, changes in forestland ownership, and other essential factors. Additionally, the incoming associate will work with Extension faculty members at the Warnell School for designing innovative outreach activities for the broader dissemination of research across selected states. The associate is expected to complete his/her research within one year from the start date (Summer 2021). Applications will be reviewed on a rolling basis.
