Two Gluck researchers receive funding from Grayson-Jockey Club Research Foundation
Dr. Shavahn Loux, Scientist and Dr. Bruno Menarim, Assistant Professor have been awarded grants from Grayson-Jockey Club Research Foundation.
Dr. Loux's research aims to develop a novel for diagnosis of nocardioform placentitis, a common cause of late-term abortion in mares.
Dr. Menarim's project aims to investigate the benefits of a new treatment, polyacrylamide, for treatment of joint disease in horses.

Kalbfleisch Lab leaving a mark on the Genome Conference!
The Kalbfleisch Lab attended the recent Plant and Animal Genome (PAG) conference in San Diego, CA. Several lab members (including undergraduate and graduate students as well as a postdoc) presented their work.
