Expertise: Landslides: I study slope failure mechanisms, causes and triggers, their geomorphic signature and impacts, and slope hazards. I apply a variety of traditional and novel techniques for monitoring and dating landslides.

Quaternary Landscapes: I study the influence of glacial cycles on slope instability, crustal deformations, and sediment flux.
