Expertise: Use of transgenic animals to study gene expression during growth and differentiation. Particular
emphasis is given to 1) altering the composition of milk for human consumption and 2)post-natal growth and lipid metabolism. A second research emphasis is the application of molecular genetic techniques for the development and application of a gene map for the horse.
