Expertise: Research on the management, physiology, and ecology of field crops with a focus on forages. Current research projects include: 1) the development of legumes as a source of nutraceuticals; 2) the study of the evolution of specificity in the interactions between rhizobia and plants of the genus Trifolium; 3) the evaluation of new crop species for eastern Canada; and 4) the study of alfalfa autotoxicity.
