My research interests are primarily focused in a few areas. One is the identification, biology, and integrated management of plant parasitic nematodes. Nematodes are obligate parasites that are often overlooked as the cause of reduced turfgrass health and quality thus reducing the efficacy of management activities. The other area is the understanding of the etiology of bermudagrass spring dead spot, the most destructive disease of bermudagrass where it enters dormancy during winter months.
