Avian ecology, with particular emphasis on agroecosystems. Bird habitat-use patterns, nesting ecology, and productivity have been studied in rowcrop, alfalfa and CRP fields and in associated edge habitats such as fencerows, waterways, roadsides, terraces, and filter strips.
